Venture Capital Forums
VentureVest Capital Corporation sponsors and participates in Venture Forums
and Seminars throughout the United States which are dedicated to bringing
together and educating Angel Investors and Entrepreneurs. These forums, because
of the format, offer Angel Investors the opportunity to see many exciting
emerging companies seeking capital and allows those entrepreneurs to present
their companies to potential investors. In addition, excellent, specialized
classes are offered with a wealth of information for both investors and
entrepreneurs. These forums are attended by hundreds of investors, entrepreneurs
and support people who are with companies involved in assisting early stage
companies in many ways.

First Annual Finance Forum
"How To Be a Successful Angel Investor"
Radisson Hotel - Scottsdale, AZ
Over 350 attendees of investors, entrepreneurs and support people.
Over 70 booths of emerging companies seeking capital, venture capital
companies and support companies.
Over 230 at the evening dinner and forum.
Speakers included:
- Courtney Price, Ph.D., chairman and co-founder of FastTrac, a
international non-profit business training program for entrepreneurs.
Courtney is also author of Courtney Price Answers the Most Asked Questions
From Entrepreneurs and Tips & Traps for Entrepreneurs.
- Mark Long, author of Unlimited Capital For The New Century and
Raising Capital In The New Economy. He is also the founder of Business
Builders, an investment educational firm.
- Chris Augur is co-founder of Arizona Angels, a group of over 60
accredited investors.
Two excellent workshops were offered: Workshop 401 for business owners: How
To Get Private Investor Financing, attended by over 100, and Workshop 402
for private investors: Lessons Learned By Private Investors attended by
over 75.
The Art of Successful Angel Investing - Denver, Colorado
VentureVest was a co-sponsor of an all day private workshop for Angel
Investors entitled The Art of Successful Angel Investing held at
the CU Bard Center for Entrepreneurship Development in Denver Colorado.
This excellent, hands on workshop was attended by over 40 high net-worth
individuals and provided outstanding insights to private investing. The
Keynote speaker was Dr. Jeffrey Sohl who is Director of Center
for Venture Research at the University of New Hampshire and an expert
in early stage equity financing for high growth ventures.
